What's Not Allowed

The following behaviors violate our community standards and may result in bans:

Harassment & Bullying

• Personal attacks or insults
• Racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory language
• Intimidation or threats
• Deliberate misgendering or deadnaming

Inappropriate Content

• Sexually explicit material or behavior
• Nudity or sexual acts on camera
• Graphic violence or disturbing imagery
• Pornographic or adult-oriented content

Spam & Advertising

• Promoting commercial products or services
• Sharing referral links or affiliate codes
• Repeatedly asking people to follow you on other platforms
• Mass-inviting people to external groups or chats

Impersonation & Deception

• Pretending to be someone else
• Using fake identities or misleading information
• Catfishing or intentionally deceiving about appearance

Illegal Activities

• Discussing or promoting illegal acts
• Sharing copyrighted material without permission
• Facilitating scams or fraud

Privacy Violations

• Recording conversations without consent
• Sharing someone's personal information (doxxing)
• Taking screenshots or videos of others without permission

Video Chat Etiquette

These aren't strict rules, but following them creates better experiences:

• Good lighting: Position yourself so your face is clearly visible
• Clear audio: Use headphones to reduce echo, speak clearly
• Be present: Avoid multitasking during conversations
• Dress appropriately: You're meeting people, so present yourself respectfully
• Mind your background: Ensure what's visible behind you is appropriate
• Use the "Next" button: If you're not feeling the conversation, it's okay to move on – just do so politely

When Someone Violates Guidelines

If you encounter behavior that breaks these guidelines:

1. Disconnect immediately using the "Next" button if you feel unsafe
2. Report the user through the platform's reporting feature
3. Do not engage or retaliate – it rarely improves the situation

Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

Consequences of Violations

Paris Live reserves the right to determine appropriate consequences for guideline violations. Factors considered include severity, frequency, and impact on others. Serious violations (harassment, explicit content, illegal activity) result in immediate permanent bans. Minor or first-time violations may receive warnings.

Appeals

If you believe your account was banned in error, you may contact us with your explanation. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis, though we stand by our moderation decisions when they're based on clear violations.

Guideline Updates

These guidelines may be updated periodically to address new issues or clarify expectations. Continued use of Paris Live after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
